Location just off Kelso, the redundant church, and the bar restaurant in the evening. Pet-friendly, immaculate room, very good Wi-Fi😀

The hotel had a remote setting in the beautiful beer garden overlooking the hills. The guest room was recently renovated, it included central heating, coffee/tea makers and a multi-channel television. Well organised team, they made me feel welcome. Actually everything was lovely, my next choice again in Morebattle.

The food was really good and presented beautifully.
The outside of the hotel is in need of paint and maintenance.

The breakfast options were amazing, and we loved having it delivered right to our room. The staff were so friendly and did everything to ensure our comfort. Plus, our room was spotlessly clean. It's also a great spot for dog walks nearby.

The views of the Cheviots are fine. Breakfast options are varied and delicious.
The hotel's outside appearance is lacking, with peeling paint and weeds suggesting it could use some serious maintenance. Inside, the uneven staircase and lobby feel a bit neglected and can be an inconvenience when lugging luggage around. Room rates are on the higher side considering the minor dampness along the walls, which could be an issue for some guests. Lastly, I spent over two hours waiting to check in, stuck outside in the cold, which certainly put a damper on things right away.

Great stay with room service breakfast!
We stayed here while walking the St Cuthberts Way and it was perfect for one night. The breakfast delivered to our room was a total game changer! Staff were super friendly. The room was really clean. Just a bit off the main road, so it can be a hassle to find initially.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel had great spaces for family fun, like billiards and darts. Plus, the staff was friendly, perfect for our two little ones.
In my wife's opinion, more child-friendly activities would be great.

Just a decent option for a transient visit in Morebattle with very good value for money. The nice beer garden in back was a pleasant surprise with live music when I arrived. Remember to check your dinner bill closely as they missed a few items.

Had a lovely stay with a spacious room and a fantastic shower that made mornings feel great. The garden is perfect for unwinding after a long day, with cozy seating and a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy. While the wait for check-in was a bit longer than expected, it didn’t dampen my overall experience. 😊
